Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing moulded insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional moulded boots are suitable for some conditions they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin uses an unrivalled 8-layer combination of materials that is used in their boots that are rated to -148 degree fahrenheit temperature range. Baffin boots are different to most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole is moulded to the base in one continuous process. After looking for boots for literally months that were both stylish and functional I am so glad to have found these. While most boots that are actually warm (these are rated -40 degrees, quite warm)are not very easy on the eye, and the cute boots are definitely not made for real outdoor activities, these boots fit the bill for both. I really didn't want to spend $100 plus boots on either/or, I wanted to find ones that I could wear through the snow just going to the mall and to the slopes. It was worth all of the research. They arrived today and are exactly what I expected. Definitely a serious winter boot but enough cute to wear with out with a cute outfit. The removable liner is a huge plus for drying after winter sports. DEFINITELY go a size up, I went up a size and a half and they fit perfect.

Thanks to everyone for the reviews on these boots - they definitely helped me select the right size. I normally wear an 8 1/2 - 9, so I took the advice from the other reviewers and ordered these boots in a 10. They fit perfectly - just enough room to wear them with extra thick socks. I honestly can't wait to try them out this winter - ordered them for snowmobiling and they seem like they will be super warm.

I'm so glad I read the reviews before I placed my order. They are absolutely right! I wear a size 8 1/2, but after reading the reviews I ordered a size 10 and I am sooo glad I did. They fit perfectly! Thanks everyone for your reviews!
